On 13 July in Athens, Professor George D. Stamoulis, head of the STEcon group of Athens University of Economics and Business presented RESONANCE at the workshop “Goals and Challenges of the Electricity Markets of the Future” which was organised by the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator HEDNO and project Erigrid2.0, featuring eleven distinguished speakers from both the academia and the industry.
During his presentation on “Demand Response: from Theory to Practice”, Prof. Stamoulis discussed the basic concepts of incentives-based mechanisms for Demand Response as well as how they can be applied in practice. In relation to this, Prof. Stamoulis presented the key objectives of RESONANCE and provided insights into the scope of the pilots and details of selected pilots.
