On 13-14 February 2025, the Municipality of Eordea and CluBE organised a meeting about RESONANCE with representatives from the Athens University of Economics and Business, European Dynamics, and the Municipal District Heating Company of Ptolemaida (DETIP).

The discussions focused on the platform for optimising district heating operations in the city and the digital application that engages and rewards consumers for their participation and acceptance of demand response signals, both of which are being developed within the framework of RESONANCE. After a presentation of the technical requirements and innovative capabilities of the platform and digital application, which enable real-time collection and analysis of district heating data,  participants analysed the next steps and the necessity for continuous collaboration among the involved stakeholders.

Following the discussions, the attendees visited the DETIP facilities to see the district heating system in operation and the buildings of the Ptolemaida Conservatory, where heat pumps, smart meters, and intelligent sensors have been installed as part of the project to enhance energy efficiency and facilitate research into modern energy technologies.

The RESONANCE project is expected to leave a positive impact on the city, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainable development while creating favourable conditions for the Municipality of Eordea to continue pioneering energy and environmental initiatives in Greece.
