RESONANCE brings together 19 European organisations from research, industry and the public domain, uniting AI experts, energy engineers, behavioural, social and humanities scientists, economists, utilities and service providers from different sectors. VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd – Project Coordinator
VTT is a non-profit organisation specialised in producing advanced technological innovations through research.
Role in RESONANCE
Apart from being the project coordinator, VTT leads the overall design of the RESONANCE Framework and contributes to most of the R&D tasks. Additionally, VTT supports the Finnish pilot.

JSI is the largest research institute in Slovenia.

Institut “Jožef Stefan” leads the work on the Resource Manager Catalogue and the tasks on security design for the RESONANCE Framework and customer data service. JSI also participates in the development and replication piloting in Slovenia.

AUEB is a public academic institute; the participating group STEcon has recognised expertise and contributions at European level, in terms of incentives mechanisms (including mechanisms for Demand Response), economic analysis, and development and evaluation of business models for smart grids, 5G etc.

The Municipality of Eordaia is a local government organisation at the first level of local governance in Greece. It has been the center point of lignite-fired electricity production in Greece for the last 70 years.
